 First Counter After lot of discussion about the media in general and about it's controversial and not so bright sides I considered first time looking at my own media usage. How much did I spend on it, and on what exactly? I checked the free app options from Play Store and downloaded an app called StayFree . It promised to track the screen time and limit the app usage if that was wanted. After downloading and agreeing on some terms and conditions ( which nowadays makes me rise my eyebrows sarcastically) the app showed me immediately how my screentime on the phone was used the last seven days. I wanted to see if any longer patterns occured so I waited couple of weeks to see how it had turned out. It definitely seems so that my screentime is mostly divided for three applications: Whatsapp , Instagram and Google Chrome . And in that order. All the others are left very marginal. Introduction to Motion Graphics   Motion Graphics are these pieces of animation, graphic designs and digital footages combined together by adding audio to form a digital film. It helps to convey ideas to the viewers in an easy and effective way. These are presented through electronic Media. It is different from common animation, it is not strictly character-driven like animation instead it often represents animated shapes, logos, and other texts.  Motion Graphics does not have an official founder or creator since its beginning was not recorded anywhere. But even at the early 1800s some presentations which can be classified as motion graphics were released. Its history was closely related to computer graphics. Animation with ''In A Nutshell''   I decided to research explainer motion graphic videos. They are explainer animations which use the type of visuals you often see in infographics. They can express a lot of complicated information,  in a small package. Usually they are fun, upbeat, and sure to get the point across. Many different kinds of companies, and organizations, benefit from making them.   Some design studios focus mainly just making these kinds of animations. The one design studio  like that is Kurz Gesagt, which is German, and can be translated to their English title ‘’In A Nutshell’’. They are quite well known from their Youtube channel and have over ten million subscribers there.
