The 2nd night photography attempt 18th - 19th of September 2020 This post continues where I left from my previous blog post. Preparing I had some technical issues in the first attempt to take a photo of the Andromeda galaxy. I decided to try again as soon as possible and luckily there was a clear night sky again next Friday . Before that, I went through the whole process again writing down every single step I needed to do since I had no intention to fail this time. It was nice to notice that all the photography steps felt clearer now and I was sure I could not make the same mistake again without noticing it.  My sister volunteered to come along, so late on Friday night we took the car and drove to the exact same spot where I was previously. It was almost midnight and it had been completely dark for a while already. This time there were some other cars parked there too but we didn't see any people around. I knew from the beginning that training photography would be one of the many topics which I would like to discuss in my blog. A friend of mine asked if I wanted to go taking pictures of night stars with him, and I decided that I wanted to make something out of that for my first blog post. We chose to make a shooting based on a video tutorial of an astrophotographer Nico Carver about shooting the Andromeda Galaxy. The whole process was very technical and quite ambitious to be the first real try for me to shoot stars at night but I wanted to give it a try. I really wanted to see what kind of picture I could be able to take with my old camera and one of the lenses I had. I must say I didn’t follow all of his steps, but I will explain everything I used myself during the process.
